A small country with a small amount of viticulture, but New Zealand is excellent at what is does, specialising in grapes like the intense Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir which haven't done so well in the rest of the New World. Chardonnays, Rieslings, Merlots abound too and smaller producers are appearing alongside the big name producers. We've two who are getting international recognition.
