Generations of Experience' is often a cliché but in this case it is an understatement.  The Trocard family have been Bordeaux winemakers since 1628, and Vignobles Trocard is one of the properties most closely watched by the media because of their increasing reputation and the precise techniques used to make their wine.

Jean Louis Trocard has always fought hard to be amongst the best, especially where quality is concerned. A visit to their establishment offers an insight into the modern outlook off this well established family – modern art decorates the reception areas and well-appointed tasting room. Below stairs is a barrel cellar, again with modern sculpture, atmospherically and artistically lit, and with ageing cellars that stretch back centuries. The cellars were blocked up during World War II to protect the precious nectar from the occupying Germans.
