23 year old Speyside from a closed distillery. A rather fresh nose with some discrete hints of malt and some light touches. Floral notes, heather, mixed to malty notes with hints of citrus fruit.

 

Part of the fantastic Cask Strength Collection, this Islay distillery has been part of the island's 'capital' since c1780. Environmentally friendly as it uses a waste heat re-cycling system. This malt, distilled almost a quarter of a century ago, shows smoky, spicy, sweet peaty and floral hints
