Orkney Islands 20 year old single malt, with a sweet aromatic nose with malt, heather and vanilla hints. Full rich and oily with an elegant heather sweetness. Well earned excellent reputation.
Very attractive decanter containing this 13 year old sherry-finished malt. The palate is powerful and smooth. Woody hints are present, due to the sherry influence. The malt also has some fruity character (peach skin).
The finish is marked by pepper and nutmeg. 70cl
Speyside. Aged 18 years in bourbon barrel. Part of the Signatory Vintage range. Built in 1898 by Adam Teacher beside the river Bogie. Mostly provides the Teachers blend with their principal malt. Medium bodied, medium sweet, low peat. Similar to Tomatin.
