10 year old from Highlands, Scotland's smallest distillery. Golden colour, aroma of sugar almonds with a hint of Oloroso. Creamy, lightly malted nuances.
11 year Old un-chill filtered Islay malt distillery near to Bunnahabhain with fantastic views over Jura. This is light in colour with a very clean pure flavour and lovely sweet smoky peatiness.
17 year old Speyside single malt from near Elgin on the river Lossie. Whenever repairs were necessary to the stills, great care was taken to maintain consistency with the original (built in 1821), including various bumps and dents. Similar to Glen Elgin. Again showing a slight sweet smokiness with hints of Cherry, rosewater and spice.
Lowland 17 year old with a floral nose reminiscent of iris, evoking butter, toffee and spice on the palate, with a finish dominated with ripe pear. Distillery was closed in 1992 and sadly was then totally destroyed by fire in 2004 after it had been bought by a property developer. So getting rare - 772 bottled
