Over an approachable and relaxed day together you’ll sample 9 quality wines from around the world, ‘blind’ tasting as you go to help you focus on what’s in your glass and what your senses are telling you, without pre-judgement of your favourite grape, style or region. This Saturday course has been specially geared to broaden your knowledge of the world of wine, boost your confidence and most importantly increase your enjoyment of wine. You will learn the basics of wine tasting; join in discussions about the making of wine, and the art of matching food with wine among other inspirational topics. The course will include and cover:
Two tasting sessions which will be split with lunch, served with a glass or two of the wines that are tasted on the day. Tasting glasses, water, biscuits and notes will be provided. Our experienced wine professionals all have not only knowledge about wine, but a real passion that the world of wine shouldn’t be an exclusive and elitist club, and will do everything they can to provide you with the confidence to try new and interesting wines.
